Could Arnie be VP?

Article 2, Section 1, Clause 5 of the U. S. Constitution states:

However, it doesn’t put these same restrictions on the Vice President.

Could, technically, Arnold run for VP? If he does and the Pres dies, what would happen?

The last sentence of the Twelfth Amendment, however, states:

Arnold isn’t eligible to be president; therefore, he’s also ineligible to be vice president.

GOP leadership will likely lobby to amend the Constitution to allow foreign-born naturalized citizens to run for the offices of POTUS and VPOTUS long before that, if Schwarzenegger proves to be even half as popular a governor as Reagan was.

I highly doubt that.

Doubt what, exactly? U.S. Sen. Orrin G. Hatch (R-Utah) has already publicly stated that he is interested in a constitutional amendment removing the restriction.

(Whistling “See? See? I told you.”)

With regart to A.S. From The Onion: “Who would have thought that a bad Austrian artist who’s obsessed with the human physical ideal could assemble such a rabid political following?”

this place REALLY needs a spell check…lord knows I can’t do it…
