Could California vote to join Mexico?

B+… Writing a freshman college paper, I had to take an unpopular view and make the best case argument in support of it. Great idea, but not up to snuff in the grammar dept.

“America. Love it, or leave it!”

It ain’t that simple. Sure, there are no laws in the U.S. forbidding most people from emigrating to another country; but the destination countries can certainly stop people from immigrating. For example, I had to earn a living and college took a back seat. I never finished. I could not emigrate to Australia because I don’t have a four-year degree. Also, Australia has an age limit which I’ll reach in a few years. Maybe Mexico’s immigration laws are not as stringent, but I’m sure they have them and can stop people from moving there.
