And that would be people like me that despise going to the theater. Cost is a minor aspect of my dislike but mainly I just can’t stand crowds. If a theater is likely to be at more than 20% capacity, I just skip it. If that means I don’t get to see popular movies in theaters, that’s just my too bad.
I don’t like to go to the theater either, most of the time I’ll wait to see a movie on video. But that’s no excuse for spoiling a movie. I can’t believe the way people wrecked Titanic and Apollo 13 for me.
I watch The Walking Dead on Netflix, but it’s available here in Panama only for the season previous to the current one. Someone spoiled a major plot point for season 8 for me in a thoughtless thread title here, so I’m a little touchy on the issue. I spent the entire season wondering at what point it was going to happen.
Of course Apollo 13 was going to have problems! They had Forrest Gump in command. If you didn’t see that coming, that’s on you.
Also, scientific progress goes ‘Boink’.
I apologise for the spoiler, I had assumed most people would KNOW that Thanos would get his comeuppance. It was the OTHER part that happened towards the end that actually shocked people.
Actually, when I saw the movie, I assumed that they couldn’t kill Thanos in the final battle, since they had to put him back where he came from. So I was very surprised when they did.
