Yes.
She grew up downtown and I was in the suburbs but we crossed paths many times without meeting.

We went to the same university and I worked at the campus pub so I probably ID’ed her.

We know that we were in Fort Lauderdale for spring break the same year, have matching tickets stubs for some concerts sporting events, and have many mutual friends.

Even after we met, (she was married to a real jerk at the time) our paths crossed many times until we met when we were both single and ended up dating.

In my case, no. My wife grew up in North Dakota, I in Washington state. I’d never been to North Dakota until after I met her, and she didn’t move to Washington state until the mid-80s which was about when I got out of high school.

I was married at 31.
A couple years after we were married we figured out that we were both at Disney in Orlando the same day, of the same weekend 11 years earlier. She with 2 of her friends, and myself with 4 college buddies.
