Wandering in the chaos the battle has left

Wandering in the chaos the battle has left
2870
We climb up a mountain of human flesh,
2871
To a plateau of green grass, and green trees full of life
2872
A young figure sits still by a pool,
2873
Is it a man or a woman? I cannot yet tell,
2874
He’s been stamped “Human Bacon” by some butchery tool
(Psst, Spyrith–here’s the lyrics to the song we’re doing:
Glad to have you with us!)
Aside to Panache: Here’s an animated (sort of) rendition of “Supper’s Ready”:
Thought you might like it. I sure did.
Wow, thanks so much for that, Spoons! It certainly helped to clarify and enliven some of the lyrics. But I didn’t care for the middle fast section as much. It looked like it was drawn by a different artist, though only one artist was in the credits.
2875
He is you.
2876
Social Security took care of this lad
2877
We watch in reverence, as Narcissus is turned to a flower.
First things first: 2878
Just discovered this, Panache:
It's the animated version of *The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway*, done by the same artist that did *Supper's Ready*. I haven't made my way through it all yet, but I thought that you might be interested.I’ll add that the drawing in the middle of the animated Supper’s Ready didn’t impress me much, either; but I’ll just put it down to another artist that was called in. Maybe no credit, but it’s possibly a paycheque; and as one who has ghostwritten books before, I can say that paying the rent comes before a credit on the title page. Okay, carrying on:
A flower?
Thanks again, Spoons. These videos sure do help me appreciate a song with confusing lyrics. And I think that artist’s work is very appropriate.

If you go down to Willow Farm
2880
To look for butterflies, flutterbyes, gutterflies
2881
Open your eyes, it’s full of surprise
2882
Everyone lies like the fox on the rocks
2883
And the musical box
2884
Oh, there’s Mum and Dad, and good and bad
2885
And everyone’s happy to be here.

There’s Winston Churchill dressed in drag
2887
He used to be a British flag, plastic bag, what a drag.
