I don’t know if i’ve said this, but I am very curious as to where this ends. This was a great idea. I usually don’t partake in these game threads, but it is cool to see every number represented by something out there. I wonder if we will ever find a hole in this list?

Considering the width & breadth of the Internet, that’s unlikely. And if there’s a gap in the sequence, then like Rule 34b, one could always create one. 
BTW, I’ve been saving all these photos since the game began. At first I prefixed them with numbers using #000 format, but changed it to #0000 because, y’know, this is The Dope, it’s almost certain to break 1000. In fact, lately, I’m concerned that I should have gone with #00000 instead!

No, you’re right. It is a thread rule, as I’ve mentioned before. Every pic posted must display a visible and appropriately sequential number.
