I have country insurance for my car and I previously asked a question here
if worst comes to worst, the car is getting towed to the repair shop.
I noticed on my insurance card I have “Road service”
I would assume that Road services actually means
Emergency Road Service
If you have our emergency road service coverage and you have car trouble anytime or anywhere in the 50 states or Canada – help is just a phone call away. Call the COUNTRY Helpline® at 1-800-846-0100. We will pay up to $100 for towing, labor at the vehicle break down site, or delivery of fuel/parts.
technically my vehicle broke down as soon as it started. Will I be covered under this emergency road service?
Unfortunately, my car will be towed to the shop from the home address in which its registered. Will this create a problem
why would I have to call the 800-number instead of the local tow truck company and provide them with a receipt for reimbursement?
keep in mind that none of this is mentioned on my card itself (Regarding specs of roadservice], I had to look it up online. If I can get a free Tow, saving money is always a plus and I do not believe this increases your annual rates.
but I could be wrong, I could be confusing road service with emergency road service
any details, please. More importantly, why the toll-free number? To insure that you are stranded on the side of the road?
as a matter of legality: would a parking lot for apartment complex constitute side of the road?
if not we’ll just have a couple friends to throw it in neutral… I mean attempt very persistently to start and stop by inch make my way to the side of the road
