Crafty Maker types, lend and borrow ideas here: what to make out of plastic coathangers?

You could make a tripod base with the Type 3 stacked and glued, then cut in half with the “arms” down.

Then take two Type 2s, and adhere them at their bases. Turn them vertical and attach your tripod base. You now have the feet and vertical section of a lamp.

Use several Type 1s and cut and attach them together in a cube, cover the inside with translucent material and use that as your lampshade.

Now that I think of it, the vertical section would look better and be stronger if it were 4 Type 2s arranged to look like a + from above

An oldie but a goodie:

Using hanger #2 or 3 and a tee shirt, sew the bottom closed on the tee shirt. If it isn’t a V-neck, make that kind of opening and hem. Sew the armholes closed. Hang the shirt on the hanger, sew it in and you have a clothespin holder that is handy for the laundry room or to take out to the clothesline.

I still have one that my mom made for me (and use it!) 35 years ago when I began housekeeping.

Hanging laundry bagscan be made with castoff hangers, too.

That was a different video, but interesting.
