Okay.
You shot a little bitty spider outside with a shotgun.
.410 or .00 buck 12ga ? Is there a season on them? Do you need a license?
It was a 12 gauge, but that’s all I had. And it wasn’t a little bitty spider. It was huge, and it was evil, and there was no way I could sleep at night knowing creatures like that roamed free just a few hundred yards from camp. Bears and mountain lions and evil brake-line-chewing packrats I can handle, but no damn spiders. There’s no special season or licensing requirements, just kill on sight.
They make that little .410/.22 over and under, the snake charmer. Less noisy and easier to carry. Cheaper ammo.
I’ve got one of those, too. For when Raid just won’t do.
Pierre’s legacy lives on. Currently there is a spider that decided to take up residency in Pierre’s vacant home. I am convinced Pierre was indeed Pierrette.
Nice to meet someone who feels the same way I do about God’s greatest mistake, Neenah … if I hear ** one more person ** tell me "It’s just a * spider * while I’m screaming hysterically and going into epileptic fits at the sight of the thing, I will not be held legally responsible for my actions …
