I really don’t mind most bugs. I think the wooded areas around my school are breeding some really weird bugs, though. Must live on cigarette butts or something. I had some big monster bug land on me last summer outside of my school. A bit shorter than a dragonfly. I didn’t know what it was, but I flicked it off really fast.
But I absolutely must squish earwigs. I can’t stand those things. They crawl all over the place, so if I don’t squish them, they’ll end up in my bed or clothes. Ew.
Spiders that are living inside my house (except for the corners of the ceiling or some place where I can’t reach them) get squished. I’m afraid they’ll bite me. I really like to watch the spiders hanging around outside my kitchen window, but I don’t like them inside. Ugh.
I have found a new nemesis: orange ladybug-like creatures. I don’t know if they really are ladybugs, but they look like them. No spots, just orange. They bite. I had a red dot on the side of my knee for a few days because I thought “Hey, it’s just a ladybug, it won’t hurt me!”. The evil creature bit me. Grrr.
