Creepy!

I really have no words for this. . .

DISCLAIMER:

It’s an Ebay auction, no inappropriate content, but may be disturbing to some.

Thanks for the link! I’ve been thinking of decorating my dining room in a sort of “dead baby” motif, and now I have the perfect centerpiece!

shudder. what the hell.

That is… very vaguely creepy.

“Reborn”, is that the term they routinely use for very realistic baby dolls?

10" long? Is this supposed to be a stillborn baby or something?

Just when you think you’ve seen it all.

The language they use to describe it is almost as disturbing as the doll itself (and the coffin, of course).

Vaguely creepy? Oh, I think it’s more than vaguely creepy. On the one hand, it’s good marketing; on the other hand, eww.

If this doll was made to teach funeral home consultants how to deal with grieving families of still born children or for use in a hospice setting to assist in preparing for the death of an infant, then why is it being auctioned on ebay? Why? Because somebody wants to make a few bucks. I wish ebay had some standards of what’s appropriate. Maybe I am over reacting here, but IMHO this is far from what should be appropriate.

Wow. I’m aghast. This is really, really creepy. I read the description, but I really can’t imagine actually seeing this thing anywhere. Maybe in one of those creepy-nasty museums where they have things like bits of Dhamer’s hair and weapons used in famous murders. But … [shudder].

<gulp> Wow. That’s very weird. I guess I kind of get the concept behind it, but why on earth would you use that language to describe it - “stillborn reborn?” Why not just describe it matter-of-factly? “This doll was made with special care to serve as…” etc.

All in all, it leaves me with a creeped-out feeling and questions I’d rather not have answered.

This is wrong on way too many levels!!

Yeah. . . that was part of my problem with it: The way it was written and described was just… ODD.

Imagine my surprise when I was finished studying for an exam and popped open my browser to do a little surfing because I wasn’t really sleepy yet at 2AM and came across that. It didn’t help me to feel like going to bed, that’s for sure.

Oh my…that is just so very disturbing. Makes me think of a doll Wednesday Addams would play with…

Man, that was some freaky text in that link. I feel soiled for having read it…I think I am gonna take a shower now.

Maybe if enough people buy this, they’ll start making abortion dolls.

“tiny and unique baby places”? Do babies have places the rest of us don’t? Or maybe just baby dolls that look dead do. Yes, definitely very creepy.

Gah.
And double gah.
Actually, just add a hampster-choking list of 'gah’s.

And also, gah.

Oh yeah, it’s definitely creepy.

Um. Ick. Extra ick with ick on top.

You know, there’s a certain level of creepy which brings about the “Train Wreck” effect. This was well beyond that level, into the “I’ll never be able to scrub the insides of my eyeballs” level.

Ick.

Oh my GOD!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAA!!! This is hands down, the funniest thing I have seen in a very long time. Perhaps I have a morbid sense of humor, but I cannot stop laughing.

p.s. bwahahahahahaha! my side hurts…
