Crew of 'Die Leifde' (Japan 1600) - Anyone know their names?

I hope this is in the right place and that someone out there has the obscure knowledge I crave…

A Dutch ship, Die Leifde, landed in Japan in 1600 with 24 sailors on board. Many of them died a few days after the landing, but some (17?) survived. Do anyone know the names (and possibly occupations) of these survivors?

I have searched books and the internet… All I have is this small list:

William Adams - pilot
Jacob Quackernaeck - captain
Gisbert de Conning - ?
Melchior van Santvoort - merchant
Jan Abelszoon van Oudewater - ?
Pieter Jansz - carpenter
Jan Joosten - ?

Any help would be appreciated!

There were, according to Adams’ writings, 18 survivors. There names are:

William Adams, pilot
Melchior van Sandvoort
Jan Joosten van Lodensteyn
Jan Cousynsen
Gisbert de Coning of Middelburg
Jan Abelszoon of Oudewater
Jan Gerritsz Tol
Jan Jacobsz Roos
Pieter Jansz, shipwright/carpenter
Pieter Adriaensz Blanckart of Delft
Michiel Physz of Leeuwarden
Thomas Cornelisz of Dunkirk
Jacob (surname is unknown)
Jan Cornelisz AKA den Dunnen
Jacob Swager

I got the list from the book Adams the Pilot: The Life and Times of Captain William Adams : 1564-1620 by William Corr.

Thanks! Just what I needed - the two books I have got on William Adams does not mention them all mutter

Or “their names” even.

Sandvoort was the ship’s factor - i.e. responsible for trade.

Lodensteyn’s occupation is unrecorded. He led a mutiny against Adams and like him was accorded a high rank in the shogunate.

Cousynsen was, I think, a book-keeper.

De Coning was hired as an interpreter. He was thought to have good contacts in Japan, which was false.

Also, it’s not Albartus but Albanus.

All other survivors’ occupations aren’t given in Corr’s book.
