Crimes Batman has commited!

…and especially if wearing a mask

When was the last time the Batmobile had an inspection? Insurance renewal? New plates & registration? And did Batman get his driver’s license renewed?

Is being a jerk against the law? Darn.

Lets not forget that Robin has done most of the same things as Batman himself, including breaking and entering, assault and battery, violating anti-mask laws, theft, tampering with a crime scene and evading arrest.

Thus we’ve also got Batman for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. (He could be charged with at least 4 counts of it in modern continuity, one for each Robin with whom he’s worked.)

I couldn’t say if he’s killed with his gun, but I do remember in the second movie he handed a bomb…dynamite? Something, to a guy, who then promptly fell down a manhole. You don’t see him, but presumably he dies, he was holding the damn thing.

One case of murder or at the very least attempted murder.

Gotham City must have some buiding code ordinance against living and/or running a business out of a cave. Even a natural underground formation of a cave.

And all those electronics have to be a fire violation. Did Batman even get the required Business Permits and Certificate of Occupancy.

By running a business out of a cave, he’s also breaking the property tax laws.

“Must?” There’s towns in Spain where until the mid-XX century, the only building that was not a cave was the church. People now have “proper houses” but still use the family’s cave as a summer residence. Much cheaper than A/C.

I think with the involvement of Alfred, Robin, and Commissioner Gordon (not to mention the entire Justice League), this is all beginning to add up to a federal RICO prosecution.

nope

They pre-date the Gotham building codes.

They date back to an early Wayne, pre-Civil War, who ran a stop on the Underground Railroad. The Cave was the stop.

Why this “unregistered vehicle” charge?

In every TV episode of Batman I remember, you could clearly see the license plate was from “GOTHAM” state. The number was 2F-3567or something like that.

You have proof its a fake?

If you ask me, it reads like the Patriot Act. That’s it! John Ashcroft was Batman.

I seem to remember Batman taking out animals (wolves, dogs, the occasional flying raptor and even Centaurs [animal?]) with the Batrang. So that would be animal crulty.

I think he also had to have broken some sort of child porn statutes making Robin wear that outfit of his.

You could probably nail Alfred for practicing medicine without a license.

Did anybody mention climbing up the sides of buildings?
