Critical Thinking explained in six kid friendly animations

These short animations (about 2 minutes each) on logical/critical thinking are great. This may be more effective than sending people to infidels.org - especially the types of people whose eyes tend to glaze-over when you say things like post hoc ergo propter hoc.

The best part is when Aristotle says “LOL”.

I’ve only watched the first one, but they look promising. Comments are amusing, too.

I can’t watch at work, but is there an appropriate age range? I know a seven-year-old who could benefit…

The link says that they are designed for Australian grades (not ages) 8 - 10, which a Google search tells me is approximately ages 12 - 16. Any Aussies who can confirm or deny?

I don’t care, I’m linking that site to my course websites for my college students. It’s not like they can’t benefit from critical thinking explained in simple ways.

Seven seems a little young, but I think a twelve-year-old could benefit from it.

Ages for years 8-10 typically range from 12-16, yes.

But by then it will be too late!
