And maybe not… All the links work for me in 2 different browsers.

Also the same link works on FaceBook… ???
Has anyone else had a problem?

Here is a link to the album. The new pictures are at the end, this link takes you to the start of the album…

I have been doing some video and I can’t get Windows Movie maker™ to do what I want…
Little title less than 7 seconds long.
Edit parts or single frames from each video.

I don’t care about:
Sound, don’t have or want any.
Transitions.

Any fancy stuff.

I want the simplest ( I are stooiped ) shortest decent video I can get out of my trail cam.
I want fast up load as I don’t have a big pipe.

I want to show you all the pictures, not make a fancy video, I spend too much time at this anyway but I enjoy doing it.
Pictures do what I want with Irfanview™.

Years ago, (win 98 ) I used Virtual Dub but I don’t remember the settings and I worked for months to figure them out. ::: sigh :::: :smack:

What is easy, simple & will do what you can see that I want?

Or should I just stick with pictures? If you are going to look, what would you prefer me/ (I) to do? ← No idea on which is the correct identifier here either.

:: I have my green metal underwear on so flame away!!! ::::

Thanks, it works now.

17 New CritterCam pictures from last night & today so far.

I like the new perspective from this camera position.

Ten new pictures on the 12th culled from 206 on the card.

Same 4 does hogged the camera for at least 100 pictures. They were eating real slow… Bawahahahah

This is a horrible thing to be doing , feeding wildlife ! It made them lose their fear of people and depend of them for food instead of hunting for it on their own !
I wish people would stop treating wildlife as pets . Now the deer will be easier to kill during hunting season. :frowning: A coyote came right up to dog and me and was sniffing my dog butt when I looked down ! I called the state wildlife expert and told the woman what happen and she said it sound like someone was feeding the coyote and it was losing it fear of people and if the coyote keep getting too close to people it will have to be killed .

Depends… No, not that kind but I am getting pretty old…

How do you tell the deer to stay out of your garden, they clear an 8 foot fence with ease.

They are not getting used to people here and Zeus chases them. They are plenty wary…

Wasting disease is heading this way from Eastern AR. Keeping them around and watching them is one way to stop the disease before it gets them all.

They are not really that dangerous to humans like big cats, bears, wolves & coyotes.

They need culling. Did you notice the one with the left rear leg that has been cut off? Probably a sickle mower that was cutting hay. Probably what happened to his right horn also. I guess I could get a neighbor to kill him for his own good but a little help seems a better thing right now to me.

Zeus is a rescue and he has a messed up left hip and can’t do what a lot of dogs can but I feed him and don’t think about putting him down. I am making his life as good as I can. Costs a little more but he is worth it.

We have 7 cats right now, just lost one to cancer. All but the oldest are/were rescues, feral trapped, injured, dumped, etc…

Just read about a falcon that is being rehabilitated and soon to be released… Should have just let it die in the wild?

The deer around here much prefer their natural food and don’t come into the corn that is like rocks until there is nothing else to eat.

The locals do not hunt our little local herd, they have other places to hunt. We are too populated for much hunting. Mostly the poachers and jack light scum. I have not hunted for sport or food for many years.

So, in general your points are good and necessary but not everywhere or all the time.

Oh, we also feed the birds… We like having them around. The really dumb ones the cats get but the birds are getting smarter each generation. We also feed the cats so they are not real serious about hunting birds.

YMMV

There are many deer around my little five acres. I’ve seen them run through backyards, jumping chain link fences like you or I would avoid stepping across a seam in a concrete sidewalk. Perhaps they frequent areas like mine and GusNspot’s because there is no hunting. One can’t shoot when there are houses every quarter mile.

I have heard that a small herd of deer will stay in a surprisingly small area if food is available and no hunting pressure.
This herd is staying in about a two mile long & one mile wide area for I see some that I recognize regular. I look at their pictures so much that they start to become individuals. The Bucks are easy and some of the does are marked up in different ways.

That big girl that is always standing up on her hind legs to see or to chastise one of the younger ones is now identifiable and helps me to keep track of the area they are using.

Been a few days so out of 611 photos I found 42 to share. Hummm, 42…

I wonder where the Galaxy is?

Lets see:
1 Forgot to turn on the camera for 24 hours.
2 Spilled half a sack of corn.
3 Hand the camera off level.
4 Only got 7 keepers.
5 Just went out to level camera.

6 Zeus made me rassel him.
7 He let me win…

8 There are two young bucks with one horn knocked off. Have not seen the big buck for a few days.

Fixin to get cold for this area the next few days.

Deer fuel stop is open.

During the ice storm of…ten or fifteen years…ago, I recall deer walking about looking for food and water. The shrubs and trees alongside my dirt rode were bent over with ice, and I saw five or six does walk by on the road. It was looking at them through a tunnel of ice. I moved a tiny bit for my wife to look, and they were gone.

Thanks for reminding me, I have a heated dish for Zeus and the cats but the bird water will freeze up I bet and I used to do water for the deer but they did not use it so I quit, But I maybe should but out some and redo it when it freezes so they have a chance as the local ponds may freeze over if it stays as cool as long as they are saying. Hummmm Thanks for reminding me.
