They’re looking well-fed this year!
A lot of natural food out there this year. Not very cold for long spells yet either.
Poor Zeus. He thinks winter is over and Summer just jumped out and bit him. One depressed doggie who has not had near enough cold weather. I told him y the cold will be back ( I hope we get more cold, still a lot of bugs need killin ) and he can walk without panting again…

Critters around the deck:
Did not check the CritterCams for 48 hours and so I had 1055 pictures to cull (saved 68 ) & process. Took about an hour.
I have moved one camera to the rock garden to see if I can get more interesting pictures of little critters. Time will tell.
The Deer Stand was slow but the Rock Garden looks like it might turn out to be fun.
Bird pictures… I think the deer went North looking for cooler weather.

I have been trying different things so that those who look at my pictures can spot the critters quicker and in a more pleasing way without making the processing too horrendous for you or me.
I have the by rote down pretty good but…
Do the markers help? Do you like them?
More or less of the markers? More pictures? 30 today out of a shade over 350 total, so about 10% which is pretty much the average.
You would rather hunt over the pictures yourself?
You hate my pictures and wish I would quit posting them?
I only post a few and usually post a link to all the ones I save from each batch/day. Do you ever go look at the album?
Well, the birds like me and the does that come to the deer corn are getting fat.

Do not tempt fate. Was it 2009 when much of Arkansas was without power for a week? Looking down the road at two whitetails out foraging on the street was like looking through an ice tunnel. :dubious:
Not sure about that date but was a mess. I lived down at Petit Jean St. Park on the mountain back then. I have some pictures but am going to the dentist in a few so will see if they are easy to find later & maybe post a few.

I wonder about cats out and about in the woods.
We let the cats out at the five acres.
They live longer if kept inside.
