Cryptozoology follow-ups: Bigfoot and Nessie researchers

OK, I saw this documentary made in the 1970s, and am just trying to see if there is any info on these people (and if it’s known that they really existed). Who knows? Maybe someone even lives in the same town.

Rev. Father Brucie (sp?): Claimed to have seen Nessie. "A huge black head, 7 or 8 feet out of the water, but no humps.

Mary Jefferson: from 'a small town in northeast Washington say “a stinking hairy beast, 8-10 feet tall.”

Sheriff Oliver Potter: “Cascade Mountains area.” His Bigfoot was only 7-8 feet tall.

Shirley Adams: “Bus driver and teacher on the coast of northern Washington.” Saw a bigfoot while driving.

Dr. Tibbets: (no first name given) Possibly an anthropologist, probably west coast/Pacific Northwest. Bigfoot skeptic.

Dr. Lawrence Bradley: Probably an anthropologist. Bigfoot skeptic.

Dan Malockney (sp?): Deer Lodge, Montana. Ten years earlier (from 1975) saw a Bigfoot while camping with other scouts.

Peter Byrne: Big game hunter. British/Australian/Kiwi accent. Has seen Yeti tracks.

Ray Pickens: Chehalis, Washington. Bigfoot hoaxer.

Ed McLarney (sp?): Newspaper man from Stevenson, Washington.

Dr. Robert Sheldon (Shelton?): Some kind of professor. He did computer voice analysis of a tape of a Bigfoot howling.

Al Williamson: Vacationing in British Columbia. Saw a Bigfoot.

Robert Morgan: Miami, Florida. Went hunting for a Bigfoot, but only found hair samples.

John Green: American Indian. Somewhere in Washington. He and some buddies saw a Bigfoot.

And, last, but not least:

Dr. Geoffrey Bourne: He was the director of the Yerkes Primate Research center, and said that the Roger Patterson film was probably a person in a suit. A number of kook websites said that he was part of some mind control experiment.

Dr. Bourne was certainly real. After retiring from Yerkes, he bacame vice-chancellor of the St. Georges(Barbados) School of Medicine. But controversy followed him. In the Granada revolution, he was accused of “working with the Soviet Union to produce terrorists by altering psychological behavior.” That’s probably where the “mind control experiment” comments came from.

John Green was certainly real, and was well-regarded within the Bigfoot research community (for whatever that’s worth…)

I’m not sure he’s still alive, but a quick Google search should turn up plenty of information about him.
