Oh yeah, I’m a dolt. I can’t believe I forgot about that that quick. I just replied to the “Favorite word?” thread and I had to make sure I spelled it right. I put it in Microsoft Word and then copied it over to SDMB.

SmarterChild is an instant messenger bot. You just IM it and it talks back to you. It was designed to be a next-generation technology thing that would give you relevent information when you ask- things like headlines and stock prices and the such.

It also has some pretty clever replies programmed in. My friend Andrew and I spent literally hours last night making interesting coversations with it and sending transcripts to each other.This is one of the shorter, lamer ones. But we got some pretty hilarious ones earlier Talking to SmarterChild is highly reccomended.

She takes the child to the hospital, but it’s way too late. She is arrested for involuntary manslaughter and is jailed. In a picture in the local paper, she and a friend can be seen SMILING and LAUGHING after leaving the courtroom.

Last night I was searching through the archives on information about Susan Smith. And people were talking about parents who have neglected their children. And someone gave this example. I copied it to try to search for cites on this at a later date. :slight_smile:
