My eighth grade son just too at test the school calls CUBA. I can find nothing about it on the web , and just wonder what it is.
Are you sure that is the real name? It is a pretty terrible name for a school test and I have never heard of it. What state or country are you in? Is it public school? Have you noticed your son beginning to have a weird fascination with old cars, baseball, and communist philosophy?
It isn’t on the Wikipedia list of standardized tests:
The long version is that the teacher emailed me to “your son getting 14 out of 15 on the CUBA test.” My wife is sure it is a standardized test, dealing with science and not a history text on that island to our south. We live in eastern pennsylvania.
I’ve found some web references to Quarterly Benchmark Assessment tests (QBA, in other words) although I couldn’t find that term used on the Pennsylvania Dept of Education website. Perhaps that’s what the teacher meant?
SCUBA test, maybe? Is your son all wet?
