Note the aforementioned mixture of Oragel and medex…it’ll kill the pain and keep it from splitting. The vE helps it to heal. Plus they’re all over the counter.

Open a can of sauerkraut, press a spoon down on the contents to scoop up some juice, then slosh it around for a while like mouthwash. I’ve never actually had to do it, but some swear by it.
