Cute kid actors who grew up to be not so cute...

Really? I think grown-up Billy Mumy is kind of hot.

They don’t really look so bad. Not like:

He was a fine boy, just fine.
And he grew into a handsome man.
Just wonderful. Don’t you all think it’s just wonderful?

He doesn’t look so bad, given that its a mug shot. Its actually kinda weird how much of his childhood features he’s retained.

Their younger sister got all the good looks in the family.

That’s the thing, the weirder looking examples in this thread all look a lot like they did as little boys.

He kinda looks like Fonzie…

Unfortunately I’ll never really know, since I can’t even look at him today without seeing him laugh creepily while drinking Tranya.

You did NOT dis my Angela! My first crush. And, well, we all got older and fatter. And she’s still hotter than her sister.

Exactly. He looks stoned and disheveled in that photo, but otherwise, I’ll bet he cleans up real nice.

[dirtyoldman]Mmmm![\dirtyoldman]
Roddy

Actually all three girls would look similar if they had the same taste in clothes and makeup. I suspect the twins went so dramatic so people would be able to tell them apart.

Yeah I have to disagree with Angela. She is now just guilty of being 60 years old. She was very attractive as an adult. We all get old if we are lucky.

It’s a GOOD thing that you just done, runner pat. A REAL good thing.

My mom says she lost track of the number of times people told her that I, as a child, looked like Mark Lester, who had the title role in the 1968 film Oliver!: http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Media/Pix/pictures/2008/12/09/Oliver460.jpg. Yes, we were cute kids.

After his acting career puttered out, he became an osteopath, and here’s what he looks like now: http://blog.nj.com/entertainment_impact_celebrities/2009/08/large_MARK-LESTER-BIOLOGICAL-FATHER-MICHAEL-JACKSON-PARIS-JACKSON.JPG. Not much at all like me today, I’m kinda glad to say.

Jackie Earle Haley?

How about everyone from Willy Wonka? Peter Ostrum never tried to work again as an actor and has been a veterinarian for years.

WTF is Matthew Broderick doing in the OP? I’ve never heard or read anyone describe him as having aged anything but very well. He looks remarkably young for being 49 years old, actually; he has retained all of the features that made him handsome when he was young, as far as I can tell.

Man, if I ever ran into the guy that played Mike Teevee, I’d be all “I totally recognize those eyes from somewhere…” and I’d never get it.

That link would be better with comparison pictures.
