Cutting the Grass

Do you hate cutting your lawn?

Is it possible to create a lawn fertilizer that will make your lawn look green and healthy, yet stunt the growth so that it remains short for longer periods of time?

Bury the seeds a little deeper? j/k

I’m not sure that it’s possible to make a lawn green and healthy and stunt growth at the same time. Sounds like cross purposes to me…

However, there is Ironite, which I’ve heard advertised on the radio of late. Supposed to promote your lawn’s health without causing it to take over the town.

Just a suggestion…

Growth regulators are available, perhaps only to professionals. I’ve seen them advertised in landscaping trade journals. I imagine they are plant hormones.

Purdue University has developed a “short grass” for use along highways. However, “short” in this case means 12" to 18".
