Daisy Dieselsmoke, R.I.P.

Farewell to one wacky wonderful little mutt! Body of an Irish Wolfhound on the legs of a Basset Hound, she was adorably eccentric.

She had bounced back from a bout with AIHA and though she almost died last June, she pulled through and lived almost a year after the diagnosis – a very healthy good year – despite this awful disease’s grim prognosis. She had a stroke this afternoon, though and died within hours. She was a foundling, so we’re not sure, but we had her for 12 great years. 'snever long enough, though, is it?

R.I.P. you little nutball. I doubt there will be another one as weirdly magnificently peculiar and perfect. Man, I’m going to miss you.

Awww. So sorry to hear it koeeoaddi.

I’m so sorry for your loss.

I’m so sorry :frowning:

I love the picture you posted in the OP. There was a lot of personality in that doggie.

I am sorry for your loss. :frowning:

Dogs are such good friends to have. But they don’t live long enough. :frowning: My heart goes out to you.

Thanks for the good wishes!

I’m so very very sorry.

You have my sympathies. She was a unique looking pup!

She was a cutie. Rest in peace, Daisy.

I’m sorry for your loss. I watched all of your pictures in slideshow form, and Daisy looked like an absolutely delightful doggie.

Sorry to hear that. Sounds like a great dog.
