Damn it GW Bush Do Something Already!

Um, you know how ridiculous this statement is, right?

It just amazes me that here George W is talking about our airports and airlines being secure, but he doesn’t use it himself. It’s like those commercials “I am not a doctor, but I play one on TV, and you should accept my advice on this medical product”.

I am willing to bet money that top airline executives are putting themselves and family members on private charter planes and not even flying their own airlines.

“Middle classers, get back on the commercial airplanes. Meanwhile we rich and important folks have other arrangements.”

Before I waste my time explaining this to you, I ask that you first sit down and think really, really hard about what you just said and if you honestly can’t figure out why your comment is stupid, there are more than enough people here who can explain it to you (myself included).

How much money are you willing to bet? I would more than gladly do the research to prove you wrong if you are willing to make good on a financial bet.

Maybe we could get Fox to send a camera crew to go along with them…Sorta like Cops. Some reggae music, lots of running around kicking doors in.

That would make me feel better. Who should I write about this?

I am not saying the President should travel via commercial airliner, what I am saying is that he is an inappropriate spokesperson for airport security. His security needs are well taken care of. Do you honestly believe anyone is flocking to the airport thinking “GW said our skies are safe again and we can go back to flying on commercial jets”?

Yes, it is stupid to get the President on a commercial airliner. God knows it didn’t do any good for Chicago Mayor Jane Byrne to live in Cabrini Green to prove it was a safe place to live. So even if it were to make a point, it wouldn’t be effective to get the President on a commercial flight.

Would you please go start a thread on… ummmm…, AHA!

Where’s Allah gonna come up with 72 virgin camels for each of these butchers?

Now, there’s a topic I suspect you can sink your teeth into!

Nice to know that you don’t actually mean what you say or say what you mean. Though since you can’t very well maintain that Bush shouldn’t be allowed to say a word about airline security, they are both about equally stupid.

Is the room spinning, or is it just RainbowDragon?

If I were RainbowDragon, I would just suggest that we send in Rambo. He’ll get bin Ladin, with all the finesse and grace shown on the big screen. Yeah that’s it.

Um, we need to be sure that we aren’t jumping before we know what we are up against. I think any strategy game will convince you that you don’t plan a move without a good plan. This is what our government (not just Bush) is doing. Taking it with hopefully clear and concise moves. There is more involved than just blowing the fuck out of some nation, we have countries around the world that need to know that we will not react like the bully on the school grounds. This is life, not a fucking game.

Please, if you think you can handle this better, please run for president. Why don’t you take over Powell’s job? Or maybe you just are too impatient for your own damn good. You want to see blood shed before people have thought this through. That’s pretty sad.

I hate war of any kind but if my country must be involved I want to know that my country’s government will do it’s best to ensure that the right people are targeted, that innocent people are not killed (I know, I know it will happen) but sheesh.

Take your Ritalin would you RainbowDragon?

Would you rather the media go back to being avoided by Gary Condit?

Hey!..I resent that because…oh screw it…King of the Hill is on…

See ya

Nah…maybe Gary Condit, on Cops, looking for Bin Laden.

Maybe we can just get John Walsh fired up again…

Rainbow, Poppy Bush flew commercial yesterday, from Logan to Houston.

And here’s some consolation to you on the whole “inaction” thing: if it’s driving you nuts, just think about what it’s doing to the bad guys!

Is anyone else amused that this rant is coming from a guy named RainbowDragon? I keep picturing Doug Henning with an AK-47.
