Yeah, because Kerry’s at least seen combat, unlike Shrub, who couldn’t even be bothered to show up for guard duty. Kerry had the cred to be able to stand up and say, “I’ve seen war, and I know what it looks like when things have gone wrong.” The Republicans have proven that it’s better to attack than to defend. Kerry should have gone on the attack.
