Damn you in the black Audi!!! (Long)

No, the black Audi just has a goatee.

Yes it is, but in this universe it’s white, which is why I’ll never get in trouble.

Derrr, I forgot that you’d said they included your license plate number. But as I said, it could have been an imagined slight, perhaps a truck like yours had “dissed” them at some other time and being idiots they said “AHA, there’s that truck that ‘cut me off’, ‘honked at me’ [insert weird reason here], on Friday, I’m going to make him pay”!!!

Or perhaps they just imagined that you’d done something as you passed them.

It did seem obvious that you pissed someone off but it hadn’t occured to me that it might have happened earlier and someone took notes to jack you up later.

The only note I’d make is that everyone acted exactly as they should. Except the buttmunch that made the call of course.

Thinking about it. Not likely to have been from earlier. Caller wouldn’t have known where to tell cops where to find you unless they had eyes on you when they called.

Several years ago, a coworker of mine was having issues with a fancy black jacked up 4WD (lots of those testosterone buggies up here…). This is a pretty mellow guy, not easily made angry or vindictive.

Anyway, apparently he and this guy both left for work at about the same time every day, enough so that this guy a few times a week, would come screaming out of a side road and cut off my coworker. Or he’d be too late to cut him off and if he got stuck behind my coworker (and several dozen other commuters,), he’d HONK and gesture and yell out of his window. What an idiot, like my coworker could just run over all the cars in front of him and get out of his way.

Anyway, the guy had some obnoxious vanity plate “BEST” or “4WKING” or some other stupidity. One day several weeks after this had started happening, my coworkers says “STOP!! Turn down that road” as we were doing work out on base. I did, and lo and behold, here sits 4By King, or whatever his name was.

My coworker got the building number, found out the guys’ commanding officers’ name and lodged a complaint. From what I remember from my time in the service, you aren’t allowed to act that way, especially if you have off-base housing. We never got to see or hear of what happened, but I have a sneaking suspicion, knowing our local AF base, that he spent a day or 3 on “base beautification”.

Never mind.
