Lars von Trier has a monologue at the end of The Kingdom, during the credits. There are no subtitles. What is the English text of what he’s saying?
I cannot remember what he said exactly, so I had to look it up. According to this danish site, he says:
”Vær velforberedt med at tage det gode med det onde”
Which translates to (coarse translation):
“Be well prepared to take the good with the evil”
The article also says he was inspired by Alfred Hitchcocks presentation of his own show.
