Darth Vader Bank Robber: . . . and all the cash in your drawer.
Teller (Strongly resembling Billy Dee Williams): That wasn’t part of your transaction!
DVBR: I am altering my transaction.
TSRBDW: This transaction is getting worse by the minute.
I find your lack of faith disturbing.
Seriously, though, wouldn’t the robber’s choice of costume make his apprehension (or at least conviction) easier? We’re not talking about a $5.00 mask here, but the whole costume. So unless he bought it second-hand (one of the all-time coolest garage sale scores, perhaps?), in theory at least the purchase should well be traceable, although the police will likely need another piece of evidence or three in order to catch him.
I was gonna work that into my OP somehow, but couldn’t think of a snappy enough way. Definitely thought of the recent thread of his heart-device and related Darth crap mentioned there. If he had ~zero insurance and had to so much as think of paying the medical bill, then bank robbery would more be relevant No Cheney fan on this keyboard…
I was trying to figure out a way to work lack of insurance, his fake heart thing, and Halliburton into my post but finally settled on a simple question.
According to the article, it was a Darth Vader mask, a blue cape, and camoflage pants. I don’t think Darth ever wore cammies, and I’m pretty sure his cape was black.
He had to sell the black cape and his Sith pants to feed his family. This down economy affecst evil people too, you know. Although BP is looking for a new CEO.
