A Crown of Silvered Feathers - This one is unfinished…it was what I was working on when I got distracted by real life. But I think it’s one of the best.
I have a couple more but they’re currently on Google Groups (the alt.fan.eddings fanfic archive is incomplete) and I have to copy them off of there and put them up somewhere else first.
Yeah, I was serious. Intriguing story so far. It would be interesting to see Polgara and Belgarath take each other on head-to-head. I’m fascinated, and want to read the rest of it!
I always kinda wanted to write Beldin’s story. He’s the most interesting character in the books for me. There’s a central tragedy to him that was never fully explored, and I have Ideas.
I have good news and bad news…the good news is that I found two more stories on Google Groups.
The bad news is that neither of them are complete, either. I was apparently just too damn ambitious. The first one is complete enough…the vignette in question comes to a suitable conclusion, even if it was intended to be a first chapter of a longer story. The second is long, but I’m estimating that it’s only about 1/4 or less of the originally-intended story. I still think it’s the best one I wrote, period.
