Day 3 on the E Cigarette

Oh my…I think I just found my new favorite site <for the next few minutes, anyway>

This place has so many flavors of liquids, it’s not even funny. And you can mix whatever you want to make your own flavors! AND it’s less than half the price of the site I got my e-cig from. Wow…I um…yeah. Looking forward to trying these, hehe. http://www.createyourowneliquid.com/

And you can buy 5 mg for 2.50 to just try out a flavor, if you aren’t sure you want it. But holy cow…seriously, it’s like an old-fashioned soda fountain in here! More like Ben and Jerry’s on a binge, lol.

Wow, that is quite an extensive list of flavours. Too bad I live in a country with restrictions on importing nicotine. Vaping dragonfruit would be pretty awesome.

Right now I’m laughing, because the whole site makes me imagine a bunch of ex-hippies <or current ones!> working out of some head-shop in Oregon, but they have such a great set-up, it seems very professional.

And what I’m laughing about atm is the first Novelty flavor…it’s where they list off-the-wall ones they’ve tried, decided THEY like well enough, and put out in small quantities for customers to try as well. When they get enough positive feedback, they put it out regularly.

And the first Novelty flavor is…BACON!! And the notes for it are hilarious: “Smoke this outdoors; flavor is VERY STRONG and may not come out of your carpet, rug or atomizer”. :p:p

I miss smoking during two activities; contemplating and reading. I also started listening to lectures after I quit smoking but I would really like to smoke while listening and thinking about them. I have zero desire, however, to go back to smoking. I would consider an E-cig type arrangement for those occasions, but I am wondering if any of you have used the 0-nicotine varieties, and what you think about them.

So… thoughts?

Ask me in a few months, as the plan is to do just that. I suspect I could go directly to 0-nic with little trouble, as for me it’s the habit, not the nicotine, but just in case…

Oh, and I looked it up: they are indeed out of Medford, Oregon. I just KNEW it!

Interesting. And right here in Oregon! I may try a couple of 5 mL bottles.

I am wary, though. The last couple of vendors I’ve bought from that sell juice this cheap turned out to have problems. The juice had no throat hit whatsoever (MadVapes), or the flavors were nothing like what was advertised (eLiquidPlanet).

February will be two years. Like jtgain

…I use the Volcano Inferno with clearos (the clear tube at the end). I use Chinese ejuice most of the time, because I don’t have to worry about customs giving my incoming shipments a hard time. When I’m stateside, I prefer to order the juice directly from Volcano – they have excellent flavors and they’re USA-made.

It looks nothing like a cigarette, but I can vape it anywhere. Sometimes people ask me what it is, and I explain that it’s a vaporizer or a medical device (I’m in China, and can make any ridiculous claim that I want to). When it comes time to filling the clearomizers, though, yeah, it might look like I’m doing something with drugs.

Day 8…still going strong…

Cool.

Well, after a week of research and watching more youtube videos than I care to admit, I just ordered and vaping ‘kit’ and three types of liquid (5ml bottles). So, now the wait for delivery begins, BUT I’m so tempted to go out and order more flavors…

What flavors do you all like?

tapping toes I am not a good wait-er when I’m excited, so this next week is going to be… taps toes

I ordered my ecig and niquids (my personal shorthand for “nicotine liquids”) from www.madvapes.com. I liked the Banana Bread flavor the best. Very Berry was also good, but a little overly chemical-y. And seriously, do NOT order a big bottle of anything without trying a little one first. It’s been a while since I used my ecig, but they have niquid sampler kits IIRC. Would be worth a try to see if you discover a hidden favorite.

Thanks. I’m only ordering small bottles right now. Looking at these sites trigger my sweet tooth and makes me want to go out and load up on sweets. I think I’m going to save off the links, maybe make ‘wish lists’ on these sites until I get a chance to actually try vaping. Right now, I’ve ordered Wintergreen, Mint Chocolate and a Tobacco Blend with the e-cig.

Has anyone tried caramel like flavors… I love caramel and it sounds like it would be nice to vape in my head…

The Safe Cig “Traditional”, Logic Smoke’s “Desert Ship” (supposed to taste like Camels) and the Myst or Mist stuff that is out in the car.
I like them to taste like tobacco as much as possible.
They don’t of course. Volcano makes one made from tobacco, but it may have carcinogens. :frowning:

I don’t like fruity flavors, so I usually go for variants of chocolate or vanilla. As I type this I’m vaping peppermint.

I’ve been ordering from Vapor4Life for about a year now. The prices aren’t bad, the liquid has decent throat hit, and they have a good selection of flavors. One of my favorites is their chocolate-caramel-peanut butter.

I did get a couple of little bottles from these guys. I’ve only tried them a couple of times so far, but the flavor is quite good, and the throat hit is decent. I need to try one for an entire day; if it remains good, I just may switch to this vendor.

I got my stuff from them yesterday, and they gave me a little sample bottle of Vanilla Malt too, as well as a free Friend Tip. That was nice

I know they say that waiting for the flavors to steep really helps, but of course I had to break 'em all out and try them. To be honest, right now I think I need to learn how to clean my Inferno or something, 'cause it all tastes the same to me. It doesn’t help that the kind I was using before was a pretty strong vanilla, and each of the new flavors is sweet. I made a ButterRum Clove <'cause cloves are what I smoke analog> and a ChocolateChai-something, and I got the bacon one too, hehe. So far it all tastes like vanilla, even though I’ve switched out those tips with the resevoirs. You know, I still don’t know if those are tanks or what. I ordered a bunch 'cause they were on sale, might never use them all, but they say ‘Blank Tanks’ so I assume tank. So now I’ve got four little flavors I can switch out any time; perhaps I should try the bacon again, and just keep using that one until it tastes like bacon

Which means I don’t understand why the flavor stays the same even long after I switch out flavors. Probably need to steep a bit.

If you have a 510 connector(?) have you seen this? http://www.gotvapes.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=151_163&products_id=740

ViVi Nova. I watched a couple videos on this, and if I end up liking vaping (which I hope I do for as much as I spent!), then I’m going to get one or two of these. Quick, easy to clean out. Can be rebuilt. The videos I watched were from “Taste Your Juice”. The guy does pretty detailed discussions about equipment, cleaning, etc. He also does taste comparisons (hence the crappy name).

Here are his getting started videos: GETTING STARTED – Taste Your Juice

But when it compares e-cigs, he actually puts them on the meter and even provides sound recordings of them. (like compared audio waves so you can understand why one is ‘popping’ and another is ‘hissing’)

I have the inferno setup, from Magma, and I like it well enough. I have two ‘bases’, I guess, rechargeable, and I like using the cartridges. The whole drop-tip thing just didn’t work for me, and wouldn’t even if I could get it to work, 'cause I kinda chain-smoke when I’m outside, and supposedly drip tips last only a very short time before refilling.

So right now I’m smoking regular cloves still, but not all the time. And for less than the cost of one carton of those, I got enough juice and cartridges to last me a long, long time. It’s really worth it, even if all you do is substitute sometimes. You substitute more and more, and the end goal is to just do this altogether.

Are you in the US? I can’t find cloves anywhere since that stupid “flavored cigarette” ban. :frowning:

Yes, you can. We use them as theater props because you can use them indoors without special permission from the fire marshal.

My friend who’s using them hasn’t refilled her cartridge, and she’s been at it for about a month now - but she only smokes in the evenings when drinking. I suppose she’s just puffing air now.
