I felt the graphic novel was quite good, so I bought the movie. My feeling? It was good, but not great. Too many good and interesting parts snipped out (understandably). No internal voices. and Cooke’s style just doesn’t quite work in animation-it’s much better in paper. Still, it’s full of juicy features, and you won’t regret watching it.
