De-mothing really good furniture. Options?

We’ve got webbing clothes moths at our rental place. We disposed of Moth HQ (an old sweater that was a REAL mess), cleaned up closets as best we could, and are washing and cleaning all clothes and bedclothes. But!!!

Our pest control guy has found itty baby larvae chewing on several pieces of expensive reupholstered furniture with (either woolen or feathered) batting inside. Mama Doug does NOT want to just chuck it, so the options are basically heat treating or nasty ass chemicals.

So - I eagerly solicit any information from Dopers on what has worked, or failed to work, for you regarding moths in furniture. Especially furniture you badly wanted to keep.

Since this is more of an informal poll of what dopers have used than a factual question about what works, it is better suited to IMHO. Note that factual cites about effective anti-moth treatments are still welcome.
