Nobody is saying she shouldn’t pay what she is required to pay. She should. It is her responsibility. But she is probably feeling like she is super fucked, financially speaking, having been given a $60k payout that she then turns around and uses to pay for her kids’ college and alimony that is about to come to a screeching halt in a couple of years. Then her kids start kicking in to reimburse dad for their expenses and not her? I can see her being more than a little upset. She could be an evil sea witch and that wouldn’t change the fact that she feels slighted. I’m not saying she is right, I’m giving you a reason why she might feel the way she does.
