Me and my mom were driving home from the library one day when we came to a railroad crossing and the big long blockers were down but there was no train. People started to get impatient and they drove over the tracks anyway. My mom told me never to do that. Anyway, this one guy drove through and BOOM!!! The train hits his car. Right before our eyes. We read in the newspaper that he died on impact. Stupid… So stupid that it costed him his life!
Good lesson: Always listen to your mother
Some trains travel very fast and cannot be seen when the barrier comes down. I hope that your post will inspire others never to cross RXR warnings! After what you wittnessed I am sure that you never will>
