I think it probably deserves a pit thread to itself, but I have heard from several lefty enlightened environmentalists that there are way too many people on earth and if forcing all agriculture to be organic or banning GMO/pesticides/synthetic fertilizer leads to people dieing in Africa or wherever well that will be good for the planet. They aren’t joking either, but they have an idea so insane it pales in comparison to anything the tea party members they hate have ever said.
Yeah, pretty much. I suppose it’s no coincidence that those people aren’t the ones who will suffer and starve for their bullshit.
It can hardly be said that any green revolution has been implemented. It is not the fault of the idea, but the lack of the implementation. Only now are things that resemble the asian revolution starting in a fashion seriously.
