Dear Senator Shit-foam

What part of “these people were NOT in a designated flood plain” do you and Santorum not understand?

I guess it’s the part that said “these people were NOT in a designated flood plain”. Mr. Moto at least hints that something might be done, however little. Santorum just gives them all a big “get lost and quit whining”.

Weird. Spectorum has called for Blair, Bucks, Cameron, Carbon, Greene, Huntingdon, Lehigh and Somerset counties to be declared federal disaster zones. But not Allegheny County. Was the damage in Allegheny really less than in the other counties?

Am I getting all conspiracy-theorist if I note that Spectorum are both Republican, and most if all of the above counties tend to vote Republican, while Allegheny County tends to vote Democrat?

By called for, I mean of course that they’ve asked Bush to declare them as disaster zones.

That makes it look more like partisan spitework, doesn’t it? I guess EVERYONE in the Republican counties has insurance???

Why are you only choosing to hear what you want to hear, Guinastasia?

Well, maybe it has something to do with the fact that Allegheny County is already a disaster area.

It doesn’t take much to check this stuff out, you know.

I also note that Somerset County is still off of the list, so it seems that the senators were fighting to include counties that were damaged but not originally included in the disaster declaration.

:smack:

So what you’re saying is that, when I’m reading newspaper articles archived on the web, *the dates are important[/]. D’oh.

Well…well…Santorum still called Bush the Catholic pres!

I’ll just slink away into the muck now.
