…the first time you came zooming out of the cul-de-sac (at a speed too fast even if the roads had been dry, but they were icy) and skidded, doesn’t necessarily mean you’re going to be that lucky the next time you go zooming off on those same icy roads. But zoom you did anyway, moments after you came to a stop.

Was it a 4x4? A lot of people don’t really understand what 4wd is good for and what it doesn’t help.
During the freezing rain/ice storm the other day, traffic slowed to a crawl on the highway as two lanes went to one near a car that had skidded off the road. We creep past and are free again and off course some Masshole shoots out into the fast lane. Um, that person back there probably thought nothing would happen to them either – didn’t make this person think twice. :smack:
I don’t know. My lack of knowledge about cars/trucks/etc. is exceeded only by my lack of knowledge about computers.
