That is a lie of your own, putting it in quotes.
Here’s what our President and yours said:
Nothing there about an endorsement.
And AARP’s response:
Schmuck.

So why did Gibbs come out to, ahem, “clarify” Obama’s statement by admitting that he’d “misspoke?”
Jackass.
Because he did leave an unclear impression that needed clarifying. But he didn’t lie. You did.
Uh, Elvish? It does say “endorse”. Barry screwed the pooch on this one. It happens.
Also, if you honestly don’t see any mention of an endorsement in your own post -
*We have the AARP on board because they know this is a good deal for our seniors. AARP would not be endorsing a bill if it was undermining Medicare. *-
then you are just too stupid for words.
It says “on board” in the part where he’s talking about his own plan. “Endorse” is in the hypothetical case described in the second sentence.
Blame the AARP for waffling, in the face of thousands of membership cancellations in response to their support of reform. The Moonie Time (what the hell):
Yes.
BwaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Oh, great Og, I was needing a belly laugh this afternoon! Thanks for providing it. That was perfect.
Obama never told me that.
I’ve found myself lurking there though, every time something like this comes out – just out of morbid curiosity.
I don’t give a shit about Fox or Beck. And I’d like to know which “polls” you are talking about. Because I’ve heard different answers from various sources.
If you think we have “the greatest health care system on the planet”, then I’d hate to see what you consider “the worst health care system on the planet.”
What’s so great about a system where so many are losing their coverage every day, who are denied due to so-called “pre-existing conditions” (god, I HATE those words, and the very concept makes me see red), where everyday people are choosing to wait until ailments become and emergency, because they simply can’t afford to get them to taken care of? Using the freaking ER as their primary care system?
That’s the “greatest?”
You make me sick.
Please. Congresscritter. Minnesota isn’t crazy, only one district in Minnesota is. We’re working on a fence. Our Senators are Klobuchar (D-MN) and Franken (D-driving GOP crazy)
Have you even every been outside of the U.S.? Worse than the U.S.? How about Mexico, all of South America, the entirety of Eastern Europe, Southern Europe, and pretty much all of Asia. The system here in the U.S. is one of the best in the world.
Only if you are rich. It’s becoming quite common for Americans who can to go to those places for medical care. Because at least there, the less than rich have access.
No; America’s system is NOT one of the best in the world, or even close. We pay more for worse care.
It’s the best at advanced treatment. It’s way down the list in ordinary health care.
Cynthia McKinney?
Yep, she’s a loony leftist, a Truther, and an emigrant from the Democratic Party to the Green Party. One might note that she twice lost primaries to Democratic rivals of a saner persuasion, in 2002 and 2006. She also opposed the first Gulf War, in 1991, so she at least has been consistent in her anti-war stance since well before Bush II. She’s hardly the face of the Democratic Party the way that, for example, Sarah Palin is of the Republicans.
Insane, and most of us have thought that since at least the guard-slapping incident.
She was also never a darling of the leftist media the way Palin is to Fox News and talk radio.
Are those secret prisons in Europe still operating? They might appreciate some business.
I just ran across an Olbermannism for Palin and others who talk about Death Panels and other such nonsense: they’re Death Eaters. I love it.
