Death penalty question

Has there ever been a murder case in the US where more than one criminal was sentenced to death for killing one person together? Or any case where the number of criminals sentenced to death was larger than the number of victims?

I’m not asking if this should be allowed or not. I’m just curious if it can and does happen under the current system, and if so, how unusual this is.

Well, in the Rosenberg case, two people were sentenced to death even though no one was (or has been) killed.

One of the most famous—just off the top o’ my head—was the Ruth Snyder/Judd Gray case, where the two lovers murdered her husband and fried for it, in the late 1920s.
