I asked my German professor in college what it meant or if I was getting the words right.
He basically said it was gibberish.

As I recall, Casey Casom (sp?) said it was gibberish, but I was curious if there was another explantion. Maybe they just joke around a lot in practice sessions, and this manifested itself during a recording session?

Its just gibberish. It was spoken by long time Leppard producing Mutt Lange during the recording sessions. Supposedly he got tired of always saying “one two three four” before each take so he said this instead. He’s also the voice you hear at the end of Love Bites where he says “Kill your parents!!” or something…
Ummm, actually the song was called Rock Of Ages. Pyromania was the name of the album.
