I’m curious about figures in various fields who are well known for their research on how climate change will effect their fields. For instance, defense/security specialists who write about the importance to the military of addressing climate change, economists who advocate clean energy, technology experts who think that a smart grid will create a boom in innovation, political scientists who feel that addressing climate change could bring about greater freedom or lead to the creation of an international system that fosters greater cooperation among countries, etc.
I’m interested in anyone who is a specialist in a field that is not necessarily “environmental” and has researched extensively the threats/opportunities climate change poses to their field. I’m especially interested in those who see considerable opportunities (for innovation, peace, profit, etc.) in addressing climate change.
