delete duplicate emails from inbox ?

ok, i’ve been trying to find a solution for this problem for a long time now. haven’t yet succeeded. so i turn to The Millions.

How do i delete duplicate ( i mean exact copies ) emails from my inbox ? preferably for Windows 98/ME/XP running Outlook 2000/2002/XP.

The best i found was www.watchyourback.com , but it only deletes duplicates before they enter the inbox, so if i use it now i won’t receive any more duplicate copies. But my problem is that i already have thousands of duplicate copies sitting in my inbox ( and multiple other folders).

 just driving home the point of why i wan’t to delete them…

Thanks for your time…

On your keyboard, usually somewhere right of center and near the top, there is a “delete” key. Now this key, when used properly, can lay waste to vast amounts of unwanted data-- use it wisely.

Aside from that, Microsoft sometimes provides a way for intrepid programmers to write scripts that accomplish feats like this. Thats a part of Outlook I prefer not to consider.

pacifica812, Appreciate your inputs… but maybe i was unclear the first time…

so let’s try this again…

How do i delete duplicates without having to manually identify them and then deleting them using the delete key.

I am looking for a script, outlook add-on, plug-in or software that can do this automatically. Preferably for Windows 98/Me/XP running Outlook 2000/2002/XP.

I have searched microsoft script archives with no success.
