Sounds like a good idea to me
If this, and the other lawsuits, keeps Trump from running in 2024, so be it, but Trump is better than most at keeping himself out of serious trouble. He will continue to play the victim, claim the election was stolen by the Deep State, and millions of people will continue to support him. I don’t think lawsuits like this even phase him.
That’s assuming he can still get lawyers to act for him. Between the reputation for stiffing lawyers and the increasing craziness of turning everything into a “stolen election”, who is going to say, “Yeah, I’ll take that file”?
Like with the impeachment there will always be some ambulance chaser wanting to raise their profile.
