If he decides to run, I wonder if he would state that he’s only seeking one term. Do you all think that announcing he would only seek one term help him?
Yawn.
His chance to even add value to the process has past and nothing can help that. Rumors of a decision are just more cries of wolf except that it is more cries of loose puppy dog. His best shot for relevancy now is in campaigning for the actual nominee when the general election race begins.
If anything, I think it would hurt him. Why risk having to run a new guy in 4 years?
I don’t know why, but I feel that this is somehow personal.

For what it’s worth, predictit says it’s now a 75% chance that Biden will run.
Maybe that Godot fellow will show up today.
Maybe tomorrow, then.
He thought it important enough to address his vulnerability on the bin laden thing all of a sudden.
The ever-changing ‘deadlines’ for Biden’s decision are starting to become this year’s version of the Friedman Unit. And just looking at this thread:
October 5:
October 6:
October 9:
October 11:
October 19:

Yeah, I’m actually starting to get a little irritated with him for letting this go on so long.
The theory I keep hearing is that he’ll decide based on Hillary’s congressional testimony. If she totally blows it or melts down or something, he’ll run. If not, he’ll assume she’s untouchable (and she probably will be).
I don’t know who you’re hearing that from, but it isn’t from Biden.
There is zero reason to expect Hillary to blow up in her (latest) testimony, given that all of her previous testimony has only helped her - and Gowdy & Co. no longer have credibility.
You called?
Joe just announced he’s not running (on TV).
What, he’s ending the MSM’s fabulous run of “Biden’s going to announce whether he’s going to run in the next __ hours/days/by next ___” stories?
The nerve of the man! Who does he think he is, anyway? ![]()
Samuel Beckett says “WTF are *you *doing here?” ![]()
Guess the pollsters can finally take Biden off the “who are you planning to vote for in the Democratic primary?” answer options. It was stupid of them to so persistently include him on the basis of little more than rumors.
And dammit, all my Godot jokes are drying up at once. Biden’s out, Paul Ryan will apparently be in or out for Speaker by Friday, and for weeks here at work, they’ve been about to move me and a bunch of my cube-mates around in a big reshuffling. Well, they delivered the moving crates yesterday, and it looks like we’ll be in our new cubes by Friday.
The word is no. Damn, I wish he could have been president.
Yip, he’s not running. I saw a link to CNN Go that said he was going to announce, and I barely got it withing the last minute of my preview.
Here’s a story with the quote:
There is much that I like about Jolted Joe. But his politics are not that much of an improvement, if any, over Hillary. So, meh.
