Dentists, what can I expect?

So yesterday, while eating lunch, “something” happens to a tooth. From my visual inspection (using the bathroom mirror), here’s what it looks like:

My second molar from the back on the right side of my face has what looks to be a large filling in it, normally leaving four toothy bumps, one on each corner of the tooth. It appears that one of these corners broke off, down to slightly below the gumline on a diagonal, so that while most of the “peak” is gone there’s only a very narrow gap at the bottom.

There was no blood, and there’s only pain when cold liquid or misguided gusts of air get into the hole.

I can’t get in to a dentist until tomorrow, so I was just wondering what I can expect when I get there… Filling? Crown? Yank it?
