Every couple of months I have to remove the Shower Head in the Bathroom when I notice that the flow has slowed. After removing the nozzle it contains white chips that easily crumble into a powder.
My question is what are these little white chips doing to my Kidneys when I drink the water from the tap.Does the body absorb this matter and expel it or is it corroding my plumbing.
I do use a Britta water filter. Does it do any good other than Charcoal filter the water. Thanks
Sounds like you have mineral deposits caused by hard water. To get rid of them, soak the shower head in white vinegar.
These mineral are actually good for your body, being mostly calcium and magnesium. If you want to eliminate them, et a zeolite water filtering system.
