Thanks. That seems right, I seem to remember Richard Jaeckel, too. I can’t check the video until later, if I can find it on line, maybe Amazon instant watch.
Good thing I keep checking the thread.

Yes, I’m sure that’s it. Thanks.
Carry on Sergeant?
I’ve never seen it, but it sounds like a Carry On film
Maybe you’re thinking of her in the Bad SEed?
If it’s not the person/movie listed above, here’s a loooong shot: Katy Kurtzman. One of her roles was set in the 1930s: When Every Day Was the Fourth of July (1978)
OK, I’ve asked this before and stumped the Dope, but I’ll try again.
80’s movie, set in LA. Ex-army sniper as protagonist.
The only particularly memorable scene in the movie is set up like this: His girlfriend complains to him about some asshole drug dealers who live in the same apartment building. He tries to reason with them, and they tell him to get lost. The next scene shows them sitting around their kitchen table playing loud music and drinking when the lead asshole’s head explodes. Cops talk to asshole #2 and he tells them exactly what happened - they were sitting at the table when his head exploded. Cop looks out the window, and sees mountains in the distance, and knows who might have been able to make the shot.
This is a tv movie (ABC, CBS, or NBC) from the late 80’s probably 86-88. It is about a boy who moves into a new house and befriends a girl who is a ghost. The girl becomes a human again for one night only and on this night there is a big party. It has always stuck with me because it was so enchanting for some reason and I remember talking about it with my friends the next day. Thanks.
This has haunted me for years!
It was a cartoon, probably educational, but I don’t remember.
I think I was in elementary school with other kids.
When did it come out?
50’s or 40’s?
Who was in it?
It was a cartoon.
What plot if any do you remember?
I have no idea.
What was special to you about it?
There was a rainstorm and the raindrops turned into raindrops shooting guns!
I think they were machine guns.
It scared the heck out of me!
Oh! OH! I know this one—Child of Glass! I ran across it the other day when I was searching for obscure Disney properties.
Can you name a movie from one scene?
Late 60s-early 70s.
Tough guy in a bar sticks his fingers in a shot glass, scissor-kicks fingers, and shot glass shatters.

MOVIE #1: Some scientists are trapped in an underground cavern which is roughly bowl-shaped. Fast-flowing mud is streaming down the sides of the cavern, and the little dialogue I recall from the scene indicated that touching this mud would be fatal. (I think at least one scientist falls victim to this strange mud in the last few minutes of the movie.) The last two surviving scientists (a man and a woman IIRC) escape the cavern and the mud by putting on some scuba gear and swimming out via a pool of water at the bottom of the cavern; there’s an underwater tunnel which eventually leads to the surface, but it takes at least a minute of swimming before the survivors reach the surface and safety.
I think that may be an “Outer Limits” episode.
I doubt if anyone will know this movie. It was a B-movie i saw in the early 60’s. I can only remember the end and that it scared the shit out of me. At the end (if I remember correctly) a guy drives an old car into some old wooden building that was full of water and the car gradually sank with the guy in it. I think the guy was the baddie in the movie.
I would love to know the name of the movie
The Red House with Edward G. Robinson.
80s/90s SF-Horror movie: Scientist team are working on robot bodies that can house human brains. Good scientist discovers evil team leader has nefarious plans for project, gets killed in arranged “accident” and becomes test subject #1. Robot/undead scientist escapes lab, tries to stop evil scientist. For some reason he’s been programmed that if anyone touches him he goes into a berserker fit
Spoiler wanted: what was the terrible secret? (Couldn’t find online).
TV Movie, 1970’s: Alien invaders (who by appearance are A.I.s or energy beings rather than biological) project themselves into and possess human hosts. UFO hunter spends movie trying to foil alien plot (involving a hydroelectric dam? One of the possessed is an engineer working there). Movie had the look and feel of a series pilot.
My Google-fu turned up this possibility:
The Vindicator (1986)
An employee of a secret company operation becomes the victim of the company’s special weapons project. He is transformed into a robotic killing machine that, because of his programming must destroy anything that comes near him.
Maybe this?
Night Slaves (1970)
A man and his wife find themselves stranded in a small western town. He discovers that a strange force has turned the residents into zombies, and runs into a beautiful woman who he believes is the key to the mystery.
The secret: Many years ago, two people were murdered, and their bodies are in a horse-drawn carriage deep in the water under the barn.
Yup, that’s it!
Nope.
