Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, Smartphone

Laptop @ work - 8 hrs or so weekdays
Tablet - 3 or 4 hours weekdays, more on weekends.
Home Laptop - I back everything up with it, & do certain tasks that are not doable on the tablet such as organize my music library. Maybe 2-4 hrs a week?
Phone - don’t have a smartphone. Dumb phone in my purse that I use about once a month.
MP3 players - on plane trips.
No desktop system.
E-reader, every evening before bedtime, a couple hours a day maybe.

  1. Desktop - PC gaming is a big part of my life and I’ve got a couple nice gaming computers.
  2. Laptop - I work offshore, and having a laptop is nice while I’m on a boat for a month at a time.
  3. Smartphone - Honestly, I could live without it. I have it mostly because people these days expect you to have one
  4. Tablet - I used it a lot when I first got my Nook Color, but haven’t been using it much lately.

No one else relies on an HTPC for video/audio media?

  1. Smartphone (3 hours)
  2. Notebook (0-7 hours)
  3. HTPC (1-2 hours)

I spent more time on my notebook some days, but the smartphone is still indispensible. When I need data over mobile I need that data.

edit: I don’t need or want a desktop or tablet. Especially not a tablet. What a silly idea.

I have a desktop and a laptop. The laptop is mostly unused.

I think I’d like a tablet for reading, but I don’t think much of the material I’d want to read is available in electronic form.
