They’ll ship you US DVDs to the UK? I tried to order a DVD from Amazon.jp and they refused to ship to the US! Pissed me off mightily.
As for Japan apparantly there’s lots of things they wont sell outside of their borders.
You are LEGALLY ALLOWED to make a personal backup of an Original MEDIA as long as you are the owner of the Original MEDIA.
You are NOT ALLOWED to sell, rent or give away any backups of copyrighted MEDIA, as this is not allowed by Copyright Laws.
You MUST DESTROY any backups when you don’t legally own the Original MEDIA anymore (e.g. selling or giving it away)
