My son is involved in one of those fundraising things at school. He’s selling giftwrap and other fun stuff (gifts, food, candles, yadda yadda). I’m walking around today at my office and shamelessly hitting up my cow-orkers to buy stuff, and I saw on the order form that you also can order stuff online, so I thought I’d hit you all up too!

(of course there’s no obligation here… but many of you in the DFW area have met him and appear to think he’s a great kid - which he is - and besides the stuff he’s selling really IS top-quality, especially the giftwrap.)

I hope no one thinks this is tacky of me, and I’m sorry if you do. I just love my son and I want to help him.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that TOMORROW is the last day of his fundraiser. I apologize for not giving more notice, but the catalog was just handed to me yesterday. We’ve been preoccupied.

Not to be a spoilsport here, but NO.

This is a commercial web site and the Reader reserves to itself the right to solicit for funds for any reason.

From time to time we do allow exceptions in certain cases, but all must be cleared with us ahead of the actual posting.
